University of the Pacific's annual Women's History Month celebration involves a number of activities that celebrate women’s contributions to history, culture, and society. University of the Pacific's Women's History Month Planning Committee presents the 2023 Women's History Month Celebration.

The events, which will all be held in person, include a guest speaker focusing on colorism, the Women's Empowerment Conference and the Annual Women of Distinction Awards. More will be announced soon.

March 2nd, 5:30 p.m. at the Presidents Room

 

Pacific’s Women’s History Month Keynote will be delivered by Dr. Sarah Webb, a scholar, and colorism activist who is passionate about educating the masses about what colorism is, and how to dismantle it. This event is open to the Pacific Community. Max capacity is 50, first come, first-served. 

Women's Empowerment Conference

March 25th, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the DeRosa University Center Ballroom

Pacific's Women's Empowerment Conference brings together women, non-binary and transgender people of all ages and backgrounds – alumnae, parents, students and friends – for a day of programs and activities designed to inspire and empower them to create positive change in their personal lives, their communities and the world.

This annual awards ceremony recognizes women-identified Pacific students, faculty, staff, as well as members of the Stockton community, who have made significant contributions to the advancement of women and gender equity, and/or who have demonstrated outstanding professional or public leadership.
