Pre-Health Shadowing

Pre-Health Shadowing Program provides an opportunity for pre-health students to gain a deeper understanding of the clinical experience and a broader view of San Joaquin’s County healthcare needs. Consider becoming a shadowing site to showcase your commitment to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals and create an impactful healthcare education for undergraduate students.

Career Connection Catalog

We invite both new and established employer partners to engage with students on-campus or virtually. Employers provide insight into their organizations by highlighting their mission, company culture, and promoting employment opportunities. These sessions provide students with the opportunity to explore potential career paths and gain industry knowledge.

Employers often express interest in making classroom presentations to increase their company name recognition on campus. Given availability or through faculty request, employers are able to join classrooms for specific targeted sessions and provide focused career development information. Topics can vary from resume workshops, financial literacy, or industry specific career guidance.

*By requesting prior to the semester starting employers have a higher chance of being included in the requested class. 

Employer partners are always welcome to campus to conduct interviews for all open opportunities such as internships and full or part-time work. This is a great opportunity to encourage students to apply for open roles and support them in their professional journey. We do ask that you provide us with a three-week lead time to ensure room(s) availability.

Pacific Friday, a tradition started during the pandemic to show university spirit, has since been amplified to promote all types of events, programs and employers.   

There are now activities, giveaways and games every first Friday of the month at the Don and Karen DeRosa University Center from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving the campus an opportunity to build community in an exciting and engaging way.

Join us and promote your company or open roles within your organization in this lively and energetic event!

  • Lunch and Learn: Host a casual info session over lunch to highlight your company and connect with interested students.
  • Connect with Student Organizations: Build relationships with student leaders and tap into targeted talent pools across campus
  • Campus to Careers: Campus to Career Workshops feature alumni who return to campus, either in person or virtually, for individual talks or panel sessions to share their personal career journeys and provide current students with insights into life after graduation. From navigating the job market to building meaningful careers, alumni offer valuable guidance, share lessons learned, and provide advice on transitioning from college to their professions. These workshops create excellent opportunities for students to explore diverse career paths, ask questions, and begin building their professional networks. 

 Industry Days are a chance for students to connect with employers from related fields and discover career paths they may not have considered based on their major alone. You can join one or more of our themed events, or work with us to create a unique experience that highlights your organization. It is a great way to share your expertise, meet future talent, and help students explore what’s possible in your industry.

Join us for a unique professional development event where you’ll have the chance to engage directly with students in a formal dining setting. As a table host, you’ll guide students through the art of professional etiquette, share your career insights, and build meaningful connections. 

Pacific offers four distinct job fairs each year to connect employers with top tier student talent across all disciplines.

The Part-Time and On-Campus Job Fair: Connects students to all on-campus opportunities  and provides the stage for local companies and organizations to promote part time roles for students in the area.

Career Expo: Network with Pacific students and alumni from all majors who are interested in employment, CO-OPs and internship opportunities at our Career Expo. This event provides companies from all industries to meet with students ranging from first years all the way to recent pacific Alums.

SOECS Career Fair: The Engineering and Computer Science Career Fair is an excellent opportunity to connect with Pacific's undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni from engineering and computer science majors who are interested in exploring internship/co-op opportunities, as well as full-time & part-time opportunities in all industries.

Meet the Firms: A targeted networking event for accounting, finance, marketing, and other business students to connect directly with recruiters from leading firms in a professional, relationship-driven setting.

Tiger Treks are opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to visit companies and learn more about their organization through a site visit. Tiger Treks provides students with the opportunity to learn about the company culture and potential job/internship opportunities. There, students learn insider tips on how to best stand out through the application process. 

A typical Tiger Trek includes a tour of your facility, a presentation overview of your organization and a Q&A and/or networking session with key staff members.
