Catering on Campus

University of the Pacific has a long-term contractual arrangement with Bon Appétit Management Company to provide food service to the Stockton and Sacramento campuses, including catering services. The information below stipulates Pacific's obligations under the agreement and clarifies some common misconceptions.

Venues Covered

Under the contract, Bon Appétit is the exclusive caterer for the University's Stockton and Sacramento campuses. Events hosted by the University's Athletic Department, including events located at the Spanos Center and the Tennis Club House and events hosted by University departments or student organizations (where the total cost of the food, dining and catering services for each event is less than $1,000) are excluded from the exclusivity provision above.

Exceptions to this policy must be approved by the Bon Appétit General Manager in writing in advance of the event. University shall have the sole discretion to contract with any other vendor to provide for such food, dining, and catering services with respect to such excluded events. Notwithstanding the foregoing, there will be no external catering at any summer camps and conferences, Anderson Hall, Grace Covell Banquet Hall & Tiger Lounge and the DeRosa University Center.

Current Dining Venues

Current dining venues on the Stockton Campus include The Marketplace, River Room, Starbucks, The Lair, Health Sciences Café, The Grove and the E.A.T Food Truck.  

The current dining venue on the Sacramento Campus includes Café Bon Appetit.  

Catering on the San Francisco Campus: Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry has a contract with J. Standfield Catering Co., who maintains and operates the food service Café. In addition, it is agreed that all functions held at the dental school will be catered by J. Standfield, unless otherwise approved and agreed upon by the dental school and J. Standfield.
