Jean Callahan
About the First Lady

Jean Callahan often represents Pacific publicly on behalf of the president, speaking regularly and working with students, parents, prospective students, faculty and staff, community leaders, alumni and university supporters. Mrs. Callahan had a long career as a human resources executive for national consulting companies, health care firms and recruiting agencies in Washington, D.C., Phoenix and San Francisco. She grew up in Bucks County, Penn., and holds a B.A. in psychology from Fairfield University.

In action

In her first year, Mrs. Callahan partnered with university leaders on the renovation of Burns Tower, worked closely with Student Life to enliven Grace Covell Hall and add fun elements to the Lair and other areas in and around the DeRosa University Center. She also worked with Greek Life and other student leaders and has been a guest speaker for Career Services and the Eberhardt School of Business. During COVID, when the public was barred from attending athletic competitions, she came out to support our student-athletes.
