The Impact of your Giving

University of the Pacific's continued excellence depends on the generosity of alumni, faculty, parents, students and friends. Every gift, no matter the size, helps Pacific in its mission to provide the highest-quality education.

Students

Scholarships help increase access to a Pacific education by allowing students to freely pursue their passions, unhindered by financial stress or the prospect of insurmountable debt. They honor academic and scholarly achievements, a commitment to community and a relentless pursuit of purpose.

Political science major Cynia Manning ’24 shares her powerful story of Growing up on the southside of Stockton in a blended family of 13 children and how scholarships have allowed her to pursue her dreams and advocate for others.

Faculty

Your support allows Pacific to recruit and retain talented, student-centered professors committed to engaging and nurturing their classes. Philanthropy also funds groundbreaking faculty research and scholarly pursuits that have the power to change lives.

When it opened in 1955, the William Knox Holt Memorial Library and Learning Center was intended as a centralized book repository where research and study could occur in defined spaces. Thanks to gifts and donations from generous alumni and friends, the library has been reimagined and reopened as a center for 21st century teaching and learning.
