Update on network refresh

Feb 6, 2015

The Stockton Network Refresh Project is now in its final phases. When fully complete, Pacific Technology will have replaced outdated equipment, improved network speeds and reliability as well as increased bandwidth. This newly improved network will support the increased use of cloud-based technologies and multiple devices, including wireless phones and tablets. The project positions the University's Network to support Pacific 2020 projects and enables expansion as the University moves into new markets.

Final phases in progress include improved resilience, additional network speed, and finally, documentation and training.

The project has been a joint effort of Pacific Technology's Networking, Systems and Support Teams from all three campuses, and has included Application Testers from many of the schools and departments across multiple disciplines.
