Resources for Students

After Hours/Emergency Support
We understand that students sometimes need support outside of regular business hours. The Office of the Dean of Students leads the on-call team that trains and supports professional staff prepared to handle a student emergency or crisis 24-hours a day. Students experiencing an emergency or other urgent need should use the following after-hours resources. 

Public Safety
Pacific's department of Public Safety is open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. A student with a urgent need can call Public Safety who will work with campus partners to get the student the necessary support. We recommend students to save the following numbers in their phones:

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS): CAPS offers after-hours assistance to students experiencing a mental health emergency. Students can call (209) 946-2315, x2 option 4, to be connected to an after-hours therapist. 

Therapy Assist Online (TAO): All Pacific students have 24-hour access to TAO. To set up an account, or to learn more information, please visit the here.  

Residential Life & Housing: Students living in on-campus housing have support 24-hours a day through Residential Life & Housing student and professional staff. On-campus students can find on-call numbers for their communities posted throughout their residence halls. Professional and student staff are trained to manage a wide range of student issues and concerns. 

Student Resources & Services
The academic rigor of college can be challenging enough, the addition of personal, family, or medical challenges can make it nearly impossible. Pacific has a wide-range of support services to assist students through difficult times, while still meeting their academic and career goals.

As Care Managers we work closely with each of the resources below to support students through these types of challenging situations. This is by no-means an exhaustive list. Please use this Campus Services Map to see the location of all student resources at Pacific. 

Counseling & Psychological Services: Supports students in their emotional development and management, provides support through individual, group, and online sessions. 

Title IX Office: Assists students with issues of sexual misconduct and harassment. 

Student Victim Advocate: Supports students who been victims of any crime, including those who have experienced any form of dating andinterpersonal domestic violence.

Services for Students with Disabilities: Advocates and provides support to students with identified disabilities to ensure equal access to all academic and university-life programs.

Pacific Food Pantry: Availabile to any Pacific student experiencing a food shortage or insecurity.
