New Student Orientation

Welcome to Pacific!

We are so excited that you and your family will be joining the Pacific Family! Pacific's new Student Orientation is designed to help with your transition into our community. We want to welcome you and give you an opportunity to access the information needed to get you off to a great start. All new undergraduate students, Transfer and First-Year, participate in New Student Orientation. When you arrive on campus for New Student Orientation, you will be greeted by our friendly Ambassadors.  They are ready to assist you and answer all of your questions about classes, campus life, and other exciting opportunities at Pacific.

Placement Testing

Students that are required to complete course placement assessments must do so prior to Orientation. These assessments ensure that you are placed in the appropriate courses to support your learning and assist you and your faculty advisor in planning your program of study.  You can learn more about Pacific's course placement assessments and fundamental skills requirements - by visiting on campus testing resources, calling 209.946.2458, or emailing placement@pacific.edu.
