Inaugural Amateur
Benerd College Pickleball Tournament!

Benerd College is excited to announce our inaugural amateur Pickleball Tournament taking place on September 28, 2024! This community event will take place at Pacific's beautiful new pickleball courts, adjacent to the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. Sponsorship opportunities will raise money for the Educator's Impact Fund, which provides funding for Benerd students to engage in experiential learning opportunities that amplify their classroom learning experiences.

Registration fees for each team of two is $100, and includes lunch, a tech pickleball shirt, and more. Members of the public are invited and encouraged to participate as we celebrate our centennial with food, fun, and of course, PICKLEBALL!

Vice President Scott Biedermann ’05, ’20 invites you to join him for a virtual conversation with Linda Webster, Professor Emerita and former interim dean of Benerd College.
 

For 26 years, Dr. Linda Webster dedicated her professional life to Pacific. Over those years, she served in many different roles: faculty member, department chair, dean of Graduate Studies, two-time interim Dean of the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education. She was instrumental in preparing Benerd for the future when she played a critical role in the merger between two distinct colleges at Pacific, University College and the Gladys L. Benerd School of Education, to create Benerd College. She received the Order of Pacific - which is the highest honor given by the University - in recognition of her years of dedication and her impact on making Pacific a better University.

The conversation will last approximately 45-minutes. Registration is required. Please use the link to register to receive the Zoom info to attend on August 15. We look forward to seeing you virtually!
