High-Leverage Practices (HLPs) are evidence-based teaching strategies developed in Special Education that can benefit students in all learning environments and grade levels. These practices focus on effective instruction, collaboration, assessment, and student well-being to help educators meet students' diverse needs.
Learn how meaningful feedback can help students grow while giving educators insight into what is working and where adjustments may be needed. You’ll also explore how to design course modules around clear learning goals, make learning more inclusive, engaging, and effective, and use ongoing assessments to track student progress and guide instruction.

We understand that acquiring new skills can promote opportunities for professional success. Moving forward, we will offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for participation in the Changemakers sessions!
CEUs are not applicable toward a degree at Pacific, but can be accepted at the discretion of your organization or institution for recertification, salary advancement, or professional development requirements. Individuals seeking units for those purposes are advised to check with the appropriate agencies for approval.
