Artificial intelligence is rapidly shaping higher education; but for many faculty and staff, its uses still feel opaque, overwhelming, or ethically fraught. This session aims to demystify AI for teaching, research, and administrative work by moving beyond hype and fear toward practical understanding. Grounded in real‑world examples, the discussion invites participants to ask questions, share experiences, and develop new, intentional strategies for using these tools ethically and responsibly— now and into the future.

CEUs are not applicable toward a degree at Pacific, but can be accepted at the discretion of your organization or institution for recertification, salary advancement, or professional development requirements. Individuals seeking units for those purposes are advised to check with the appropriate agencies for approval.
