Chess, Life Moves and Leadership
Join the Center for Identity & Inclusion and the Chess Club for a beginner-friendly introduction to chess and strategic thinking. Participants will learn the fundamentals of the game, explore basic strategies and take part in casual gameplay.Using chess as a starting point, the workshop will also explore leadership, decision-making, patience, adaptability and the importance of thinking ahead in college and life. No previous chess experience is required, and students of all skill levels are welcome.Location: CII Main Lounge, First Floor, McCaffrey CenterTime: 3–4:30 p.m.
