When video game players communicate about games that they both enjoy and hate, nostalgia can play a key role in their assessments. The tone that these exchanges take in public online spaces, such as YouTube comments, have important possibilities for exposing players to novel ideas they may not have encountered before that are also deeply emotionally charged. Searching for community and being exposed to "new ideas" has impacts for both processes of radicalization and de-radicalization.Location: PSYCOMM BUILDING, ROOM 12 3601 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA 95211, USA College of the Pacific College of the Pacific America/Los_Angeles public
