Presenter
Kimberly Sanders, PharmD, is a clinical associate professor in the Division of Practice Advancement and Clinical Education at University of North Carolina (UNC) Eshelman School of Pharmacy with a shared appointment at UNC Adams School of Dentistry. She earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from Purdue University, completed a pharmacy practice residency at University of Cincinnati Medical Center and completed an academic postdoctoral research fellowship in pharmacy practice model advancement at UNC. She is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a nationally recognized dental CE speaker on medication management and prescribing practices. Her research efforts also encompass interprofessional education and practice initiatives to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals for team-based care.
