Microsurgical Endodontics: From Planning to Execution

This intensive, three-day workshop is designed to provide participants with the ability to learn all about endodontic microsurgery, starting from decision-making and treatment planning to patient management of the root as well as soft and hard tissue structures for predictable treatment outcomes. The program features a live surgery demonstration, allowing participants to observe procedures firsthand.
Attendees will perform surgery on a simulated 3D surgical model using a surgical operating microscope and proper microsurgery armamentarium. Participants will incise and reflect simulated gingiva, perform osteotomy, apicoectomy, retro-preparation and retro-filling followed by suturing.

Presenter
Adham A. Azim, BDS, DDS, is chair of the Department of Endodontics at the Dugoni School of Dentistry and maintains a private endodontics practice. He is also the founder and CEO of Endolit. A diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, he has lectured all over the world and has received several awards for his research work. He has more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals and several textbook chapters. He is a member of the scientific advisory board for the Journal of Endodontics, an associate editor for the European Journal of Endodontics and a reviewer for multiple other endodontic journals.
