Pacific Orchestras
The Conservatory of Music presents a concert featuring Pacific Orchestras guest-conducted by Laura Jackson. The ensemble will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and music by Dai Wei, plus a premiere work by Pacific's student composer Marcus Rudes '27, the winner of the Conservatory’s 2024-25 Student Composition Competition. The featured soloists are winners of the 2024-25 Conservatory Performance Competition: Mia Janosik, mezzo-soprano, and Magdalene Myint, piano.Tickets are available on line or at the door, 30 min before the event.Free attendance with a valid ID: all students, Pacific faculty/staff, Pacific Emeritus faculty member, Pacific OLLI members.
