This series re-examines the legacy of slavery in the United States and reframes American history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of Black Americans at the center of the national narrative. Following the screening, we’ll host a guided dialogue exploring key themes including race, democracy, identity, systemic injustice, and historical memory.
