It fulfills the Dental Hygiene Board of California's 150-hour education requirement to apply for an RDHAP license. As California's population continues to grow, it has become one of the most diverse in the United States. Promoting oral health is becoming increasingly challenging. This virtual program is designed to reach professionals in both rural and urban areas. Two live interactive webinar sessions will allow students to meet their peers and instructors virtually.To successfully complete this program, students will be required to attend the two live webinars via Zoom (first and last day), complete online lectures, quizzes, case reports and a portfolio project.
