Azim, BDS, DDS, is chair of the Department of Endodontics at the Dugoni School of Dentistry and maintains a private endodontics practice. He is also the founder and CEO of Endolit. A diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, he has lectured all over the world and has received several awards for his research work. He has more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals and several textbook chapters. He is a member of the scientific advisory board for the Journal of Endodontics, an associate editor for the European Journal of Endodontics and a reviewer for multiple other endodontic journals.David Lam, MD, DDS, PhD, is associate dean for medical integration, an endowed professor and chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Dugoni School of Dentistry. He specializes in the comprehensive surgical management of patients with trauma, cancer, pathology and trigeminal nerve injury. He obtained a DDS from University of Toronto and subsequently obtained a PhD in the collaborative program in neuroscience and a oral and maxillofacial surgery certificate from the same institution. He earned an MD from University of California, Davis and completed a postdoctoral neuroscience research fellowship, as well as a surgical fellowship in maxillofacial oncology and reconstructive surgery, at University of California, San Francisco.Rebecca Moazzez, BDS, MSc, PhD, is a professor, chair of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry, the Henry Sutro Endowed Chair in Restorative Dentistry, director of the Center for Innovation and Translation and serves as associate dean of research at the Dugoni School of Dentistry since 2021. Prior, she served as professor/consultant in oral clinical research/prosthodontics at King’s College London since 1998. Dr. Moazzez is a prosthodontist and earned a BDS, as well as an MSc and a PhD, from University of London. She also obtained fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons of England for which she obtained the gold medal, followed by her specialist certification from the Royal College. Her research is in the field of erosive tooth wear (ETW) and gastroesophageal reflux disease, and she is one of 16 international experts in the field of ETW.Heesoo Oh, DDS, MSD, PhD, is a professor and chair of the Department of Orthodontics and also serves as director of the Craniofacial Research Instrumentation Laboratory at the Dugoni School of Dentistry. She received a DDS, MS in pediatric dentistry and a PhD in oral biology from Chonnam National University in Kwangju, Korea. She later earned an MS in orthodontics from the Dugoni School of Dentistry. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and serves as a reviewer for several journals in orthodontics and dental research. She has earned multiple awards from the American Association of Orthodontists and American Association of Orthodontists Foundation for her research.Rinku S. Saini, DDS, MS, MPH, is the chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Dugoni School of Dentistry. Previously, he served as a full-time faculty member at the Dugoni School from 2009 to 2012. He also served as an adjunct associate clinical professor with UCSF’s pediatric dentistry residency program from 2016 to 2023. He earned both a DDS and an MPH in health policy and management from Columbia University.
