The University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law is celebrating its centennial anniversary with great pride. This year-long commemoration unites alumni from across the nation as we honor a century of achievements and anticipate the future.
McGeorge was founded by Verne Adrian McGeorge as Sacramento College of Law in 1924 in a modest single room setting in downtown Sacramento. In 1929 Sacramento College was re-named the McGeorge College of law and merged with the University of the Pacific in 1966.
Since then, McGeorge School of Law has achieved global acclaim, and we are delighted to celebrate this milestone with our entire McGeorge family.
In honor of our centennial, we are hosting a gala themed "Honoring Our Past and Welcoming Our Future, Together." We warmly invite McGeorge School of Law alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to join us for the McGeorge Centennial Gala sponsored by Gavrilov & Brooks in October 2024.
