Pacific's Response to COVID-19

Pacific continues to monitor conditions around COVID-19 in our communities and regions. As we have throughout the pandemic, we continue to follow guidance of our public health organizations and the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration emergency temporary standard.

With the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and community at the forefront of Pacific's response to COVID-19, please review the Spring 2024 requirements and updates below before coming to campus.

COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements

All Pacific non-health professionals and employees are not required to have COVID-19 vaccinations.  Enrolled Health Sciences professionals are required to have COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster.

COVID-19 vaccinations for enrolled Health Sciences professionals will be monitored through the Student Health Center in conjunction with all other immunization requirements.

Facial Coverings

Pacific students and employees are expected to follow all local requirements regarding facial coverings. 

Facial coverings are mandatory for those who are around other people indoors for 10 days after you become sick or test positive (if no symptoms). 

At all other times, facial coverings at Pacific are optional. 

If You Have Symptoms/Direct Exposure:

  • Check your symptoms daily.
  • All positive tests must be reported on the COVID-19 reporting form.
  • Don’t come to campus if you are sick.
