Pacific community rallies to support alum on ‘American Idol’

What: It’s getting down to the wire on “American Idol.” After dozens of eliminations, the singing competition show is down to the Top 14 contestants, which includes 2023 University of the Pacific graduate Filo Ebid.

Students, alumni, faculty and staff will come together for a watch party to show their support for the Pacific alumnus during this Sunday’s show.

The contestants will perform iconic songs from Rock & Roll Hall of Fame legends as they compete to make it to the Top 12.

When: The watch party will be held Sunday, April 27 at 5 p.m. (The East Coast feed of “American Idol” will be shown)

Where: The Lair, a pub-style eatery, located on the third floor of the Don and Karen DeRosa University Center (building 60 on campus map), University of the Pacific, Stockton

Parking is available next to the DeRosa Center in Lot 7.
