Pacific to host 4th annual Tigers Prowlin’ the Mile community block party

What: University of the Pacific is celebrating the start of a new academic year with the fourth annual Tigers Prowlin' the Mile—a family-friendly block party held at Stockton’s historic Miracle Mile shopping district near campus.
The event is an opportunity to welcome new and returning students to the community while supporting local businesses. Attendees of all ages can enjoy a Ferris wheel, giant slide, live music, shopping, dining and more.
When: Friday, August 22 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Miracle Mile District, Stockton (surrounding Tuxedo Park)
Pacific Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic in the event area. Parking will be available in surrounding lots and neighborhoods.
Additional information: Tigers Prowlin’ the Mile provides an opportunity for students to explore and connect with the Stockton community, which is an integral part of their time at Pacific. Students regularly work, volunteer and engage with area businesses and community organizations throughout the year.
