Tomorrow is the deadline for employees to provide vaccination status

Dear Stockton and Sacramento faculty and staff,

If you have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 but have not uploaded a scan or image of your vaccination card to our secure portal, please do so by 5 p.m. tomorrow, June 24.

The university is requiring this information in response to a new temporary emergency standard from Cal/OSHA (the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health) that, among other things, requires employers to collect information on the COVID-19 vaccination status of all employees and implement separate COVID-19 safety measures for unvaccinated workers. Information on the temporary standard is available on the Cal/OSHA website.

Employees who do not provide the university their vaccination information will be considered to be unvaccinated and will need to:

  • Wear face coverings at all times except when in a room alone or eating or drinking.
  • Maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others whenever removing the face covering for eating and drinking.

If you have not yet been vaccinated, we encourage you to do so for your health and the health of our community. Pacific is holding clinics on its Stockton and Sacramento campuses (the next one is this Saturday); use California's My Turn website to make an appointment.

For information about the requirement to provide vaccination information, please contact your campus Human Resources office:

Sincerely,

Maria Pallavicini
Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs
