Women's basketball brings 'energy and intensity' ahead of upcoming season

The women’s basketball program at University of the Pacific began their summer workouts in preparation for the 2025-26 season with intensity and focus.

The team’s camaraderie and drive are apparent after the first practice.

The eight returning Tigers were letterwinners who carried the team to the Women’s National Invitational Tournament last season, and have brought that perseverance to practice. They are joined by six dynamic new recruits, three from the state of California.

“You hope for a work ethic, an energy level that’s going to match what we do, and intensity, and this group brought that,” said Head Coach Bradley Davis.
