Reynolds Gallery opens the 2020 presidential election year with a multimedia exhibition of Professor Jennifer Little's new project,  Gun Culture, opening January 21 and on view through March 6, 2020. Please join us for a public gallery reception, Thursday, February 27, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., featuring student responsive artwork. Events are free and open to the public.

Through this multimedia exhibition of new work, Professor Little will explore the relationship between right-wing gun culture, conservative politics, poverty, racism and white supremacy. Gun rights consistently rank as one of the most important issues among Conservative voters, and many conflate gun rights with both patriotism and Christian religious virtue. This exhibition investigates the historic origins of American Gun Culture and the way that it is perpetuated through both political messaging and the marketing used to sell guns today.
