Benerd College's Bachelor of Arts
Emily Padilla

Meet Emily Padilla, an upcoming sophomore in Benerd College's Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies program, Undergraduate Senator-elect, and current Powell Scholar.

Emily chose Pacific for the Pacific Experience, including the small classroom sizes and experience-driven education. She appreciates Benerd College's network and connections with local communities and how those connections give students opportunities to participate in classrooms. Emily volunteered at Stagg High School and Kohl Open Elementary school during her first year.

As Benerd’s Undergraduate Senator-elect, Emily's primary goal is to promote unity and connection in the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies program. She loves the family atmosphere of Benerd and looks forward to event planning, collaborating with other schools at Pacific, and representing the voice of all undergraduate students in Benerd College. Additionally, she wants to help promote resources available to students and mental health awareness.

Emily promises to always perform her duty with initiative, integrity, responsibility, and dedication.
