12:00 p.m. - 01:30 p.m.
McGeorge’s Public Policy Programs would like to invite you to attend the Fall 2026 Speaker and Workshop Series in Classroom S4/S5 (second floor of Northwest Hall). On select Saturdays, we bring together elected officials, working professionals and partner organizations to share their work, offer advice and answer questions about how students can apply the skills they are learning in the program to their future careers. Don’t miss this opportunity to network and engage.
On Saturday, October 24, join the ASPA Sacramento Chapter and University of the Pacific for Path to Public Service, an interactive state employment workshop and panel discussion designed for Pacific students and open to the public.
Explore how to search for state jobs, understand minimum qualifications, create and navigate a CalCareers profile, complete applications and prepare Statements of Qualifications.
Following the opening presentation, our featured panelists will share practical guidance, firsthand experiences, and advice for navigating the state hiring process. Questions and participation are encouraged throughout. Featured panelists include Brandon Littlejohn, Jaisha White, Denyal Noel and Jasinda Muhammad (Deputy Director, Human Resources, California Correctional Health Care Services).
