Bespokeology 2.0 features textile paintings and constructions by Clarksburg artist Julia Couzens. Couzens, who trained as painter and does not use traditional fiber techniques, employs layers of transparent tulle, shiny floss, and fabric scraps, constructing work that is both object and image. Experience the spell of their casual splendor at the Reynolds Gallery, Monday – Friday, from 9 – 4:30 from August 18 – September 25. A reception and short artist talk will be held on September 3 from 6 – 8 pm. The gallery is always free and open to the public.
