The Conservatory of Music presents a concert featuring guest trumpet player Brandon Woody '16 with Pacific Jazz Ensemble directed by Patrick Langham.
Hailed by The New York Times and Los Angeles Times as a rising force in contemporary jazz, Woody is a former member of Pacific’s Brubeck Institute. He released his first album “For the Love of It All” on Blue Note Records in 2025.
Pacific Jazz Ensemble is a big band in the tradition of Duke Ellington and Count Basie. Directed by Professor Patrick Langham, they perform the classics and embrace the music of contemporary composers and arrangers.
