The Conservatory of Music presents a guest artist recital featuring Rebecca Lawrence, double bass. Lawrence’s program combines contemporary works for solo double bass with Baroque works. Through extended techniques and alternative tunings, she exposes, expands and illuminates the sonic compass of her instrument.
