The Conservatory of Music presents a recital and master class featuring guest clarinetist Mariam Adam.

• 5:30 pm, recital
• 6 pm, master class

Adam graduated from University of the Pacific in 1998 with Bachelor of Music in music performance and went on to earn a Master of Music in clarinet performance from the Manhattan School of Music. A founding and former member of the multi Grammy Award-nominated woodwind quintet Imani Winds, Adam is a sought-after performer, educator and a recording artist. Her musicianship has been shaped by her diverse background (born in California in an Egyptian–Mexican family, she has lived in New York, Paris and Nashville) and her world-wide collaborations.

The recital and master class (observe only) are free and open to the public.
