The Conservatory of Music presents two master classes with renowned guest tenor Andrew Stenson. High school and junior college students are encouraged to contact the Assistant Dean for Conservatory Admissions and apply to participate. The public is invited to observe.

Praised by The Wall Street Journal for his "vivid tenor that is both beautiful and full of raw feeling," Stevenson is a graduate of The Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artists Program. He has performed in such renowned venues as Lyric Opera of Chicago and Washington National Opera and with the opera houses in Seattle, Minnesota, Dallas, Utah, Palm Beach and more.
The events at Pacific are part of the Lynelle Wiens Honorary Master Class series. Established in honor of Professor Lynelle Wiens upon her retirement in May 2020, the fund brings world-renowned vocal artists to campus to enriched student experience. These master classes offer voice students specialized coaching in diverse styles, ranging from classical opera and tenor-specific techniques to musical theater and contemporary singing.
