The Conservatory of Music invites jazz fans for a real treat! An evening of excellent jazz played by Pacific Jazz Ensemble with guest artist Michael Dease, trombone. A winner of multiple Grammy Awards, Dease is a sought-after lead, section and bass trombonist playing with today’s leading jazz orchestras.
Patrick Langham directs Pacific Jazz Ensemble (the Big Band).
Some of the tunes played that evening are Johnny Mercer's "Autumn Leaves," John Coltrane's "Giant Steps" and Jimmy Dorsey's "I’m Glad There Is You."
