Pacific Wind Bands
The Conservatory of Music presents Pacific Wind Bands conducted by Professor Vu Nguyen. In celebration of Black History Month, the concert’s title is inspired by Henry Dorn’s "I, Too, Am America." Additional repertoire includes Carlos Simon’s "Sweet Chariot" and Michael Daugherty’s "The Adventures of Jesse Owens." Featured soloist and soprano Lisa Williamson is described by the Washington Post as “silvery of voice” and “a showstopper.” She is Pacific's artist-in-residence in spring 2026.Tickets are available online or at the door, 30 min. before the performance.Free attendance with a valid ID: all students, Pacific faculty/staff, Pacific Emeritus faculty member, Pacific OLLI members.
