The Conservatory of Music presents Pacific Wind Bands conducted by Professor Vu Nguyen.
Guest saxophonist Otis Murphy performs on Claude T. Smith’s "Fantasia for Alto Saxophone." The program also includes student artist Casey Kim, a winner of the 2025-26 Conservatory Performance Competition. Kim will solo on Paul Creston’s "Concertino for Marimba." Plus a premiere work by student composer Edmund Bascon, the winner of the 2025-26 Student Composition Competition.
Tickets are available online or at the door 30 min. before the performance.
Free attendance with a valid ID: all students, Pacific faculty/staff, Pacific Emeritus faculty member, Pacific OLLI members.
Master class with Otis Murphy is on March 31, 6–8 pm, Recital Hall. The class is open to the public and free to observe.
