Pacific Wind Bands "Hidden Echoes"
The Conservatory of Music presents Pacific Wind Bands conducted by Professor Vu Nguyen and guest conductor Robert Ponto. The program explores how composers transform borrowed melodies and musical traditions. Pieces include David Biendenbender's "Luminescence," Lindsey Bronnenkant's "Tarot," John Mackey's "Aurora Awakes," Gustav Holst's First Suite in E-flat and Charles Ives's "Country Band March."Tickets are available online or at the door 30 min. before the performance.Free attendance with a valid ID: all students, Pacific faculty/staff, Pacific Emeritus faculty member, Pacific OLLI members.
