Suicide Prevention Week at University of the Pacific is dedicated to fostering awareness, understanding, and hope. Throughout the week, we unite to share resources, engage in meaningful dialogue, and strengthen our commitment to supporting one another’s mental health. Together, we work to break the silence, reduce stigma, and build a campus community where every member feels seen, valued, and supported. These events are open to all students, staff, & faculty.
9/9: Hustle While Healing Workshop (11:00 am, BSS Lounge, 2nd floor of McCaffrey Center)
9/10: Rooted in Care: Suicide Prevention Kickoff (12:00 pm, DeRosa University Center Lawn)
9/10: QT Connect (5:00 pm, LGBTQ+ Resource Center, 1st floor of McCaffrey Center)
9/11: Spill the LGBTEA - Decolonizing Queerness (12:00 pm, LGBTQ+ Lounge, 1st floor of McCaffrey Center)
9/12: Latinx Heritage Month Kickoff Celebration (12:00 pm, DeRosa University Center Lawn)
9/13: Suicide Prevention Hike in Yosemite (7:00 am, on-campus pickup location TBA)
