This public event invites Pacific and Stockton community members—students, families, activists and organizers—to engage with the VR Chicana Testimonio Project, an evolving archive preserving Chicana and Latina histories in Stockton and beyond. Featuring guest speakers Camille Zapata and Katherine Bahena Benitez, the program will highlight research in progress and explore how critical qualitative methodologies—such as testimonio—can serve as powerful tools for community memory, resistance and intergenerational knowledge. Nopal and Sac State have hosted two previous research talks and VR/archival exhibits, generating excitement and deep community interest. We look forward to gathering again in this shared space of reflection and possibility. Refreshments will be served. ***Registration is limited to 50 participants.
