Back in 2026

University of the Pacific's Wind Band Festival is a non-competitive, non-rated festival open to high school bands. Participating bands will receive a video recording and an audio feedback on their performance. Additionally, they will have a 30-minute clinic from one of the festival's clinicians and instrument-specific clinics with Pacific faculty. The festival will conclude with a concert featuring Pacific Wind Bands.

Join Us

$400—group registration fee

Each registered group will perform for 25 minutes. Each performance will be followed by a feedback session.

2025 Event Spotlight
Pacific Wind Bands Concert

The 2025 festival culminated with a concert featuring Pacific Wind Bands conducted by Professor Vu Nguyen. The ensemble played works by Giovanni Santos, Ivan Trevino and Julie Giroux. Conservatory student artist and cellist Hasina Torres '25 performed Friedrich Gulda's Concerto for Cello and Wind Orchestra. Torres was a winner of the 2024-25 Conservatory Performance Competition.
