The Conservatory of Music actively fills an important role in the local community through our public concerts, instrumental programs for a broad range of musical expertise, music lessons through Pacific Community Music School, and renting our facilities for community events. Conservatory students and faculty play locally and internationally bringing their passion for music wherever they go.

Breaking Free: The Transformative Power of Music Improvisation
Music Education and Music Therapy Conference
The Conservatory of Music presents a joint music education and music therapy event featuring acclaimed violinist and educator Christian Howes. Along with a panel of musicians and music therapists, Howes explores the transformative potential of music improvisation. The day culminates with a concert featuring Howes and Pacific’s jazz faculty and students.
This event is free and open to the public.
Pacific Community Music School
Pacific Community Music School is a unique environment carefully structured to creatively impart the benefit of music to students of any age, skill level, and background. Music education at PCMS is complementary to the local music programs and reinforces the relationship existing between the Conservatory of Music and educational organizations in the region.
