AI Robotics Club brings hands-on innovation at Pacific

University of the Pacific students are taking robotics to new heights with the launch of the Artificial Intelligence-powered Robotics Club, a new student-founded organization focused on empowering students with the skills and technology needed to excel in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and robotics.

The club aims to make AI-powered robots and other cutting-edge systems more accessible on campus while building a strong community around emerging technologies. There are already more than 20 members since launching this Fall.

“Our goal is to get together, do research, learn from one another, experiment and make mistakes. That’s how we intend to grow,” said the club president, Abdullah Tariq Choudhry ’25. “Two or three years from now, I want us to be 50–60 members strong, competing locally and internationally, representing the University,”

The club meets weekly in the Chamber Technology Center and welcomes new members who are eager to learn, collaborate and experiment. Follow @airatuop on Instagram for updates and meeting details.
