McGeorge School of Law faculty to present at 2026 SEALS Conference

The 2026 Southeastern Association of American Law Schools (SEALS) Annual Conference will be held on July 26-August 1 at the Omni Amelia Island Resort in Amelia Island, Florida. Faculty at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law are featured speakers throughout the conference.
July 26
Distinguished Professor of Law Michael Vitiello will hold a lecture on “Collegial Support” from 1:00 – 2:45 p.m.
Professor Vitiello will hold a lecture on “Regulating Sin” from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.
July 27
Associate Professor of Law Mary-Beth Moylan will hold a lecture on “Teaching Demonstrations” from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Professor Vitiello will hold a workshop called “Criminal Law Scholar Workshop” from 10:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Professor Vitiello will hold a lecture on “Scholarship Goals” from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Professor Moylan will hold a lecture on “Teaching Exercises” from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
On Monday evening, McGeorge invites conference attendees to join our faculty for the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law Mixer from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Omni Amelia Island’s Main Conference Lobby, the Magnolia Foyer.

Professor of Law Rachel Van Cleave will hold a workshop called “Policing and Prosecution Workshop” from 10:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Professor Vitiello and Van Cleave will co-teach a lecture on “Criminal Procedure Voices” from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Associate Professor of Law and Associate Dean of Admissions Dan Croxall, alongside Professor Moylan and Professor Vitiello, will be teaching “Constitutional Law Workshop” from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Professor Vitiello and Van Cleave will co-teach a lecture on “Reimagining Justice” from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Professor of Law Michael Hunter Schwartz and Professor Moylan will co-teach a lecture on “Legal Mentoring” from 10:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
