Dear Pacificans,

As we honor Women’s History Month, I find myself reflecting on the everyday acts of courage, creativity and care I witness each day at Pacific.

This afternoon, we will come together for our Women of Distinction Awards ceremony, where we will recognize individuals who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to advancing women and promoting gender equity across the Pacific community. Please join us in congratulating this year’s honorees. 

In my own journey, I’ve learned that women’s empowerment begins when we trust our voices—even when it feels unsteady or we are not quite sure. Being my authentic self is my superpower. This is where I find creativity and courage and where new possibilities emerge and change begins. 

When women trust their voices and embrace their superpower, we are bold and speak authentically, and our communities grow stronger.

Equity sustains that empowerment. It requires intention—removing barriers, widening access, and ensuring opportunity is shared, not scarce.

I am grateful for the women and allies who have supported me along the way, and I remain committed to lifting others as we climb. When we amplify one voice, we create space for many. This month, and always, may we continue to lead with purpose, create with intention, and support one another on the path toward equity, inclusion, and justice.
