University community invited to unveiling ceremony for Chan Family Hall on Thursday, Oct. 9

Oct 6, 2014

The Pacific community is invited to join the Board of Regents, President Eibeck and Dean Oppenheimer in celebrating the dedication, leadership and generosity of the Tony and Virginia Chan Family at an Unveiling Ceremony for the Chan Family Hall in recognition of their most recent gift. The celebration will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, on the north side of the Chan Family Hall (formerly Brookside Hall).

We honor the Chan Family for their philanthropy to University of the Pacific and to the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in their roles as students, alumni, parents, and Regents. Their gifts have benefited the University and our community across a full spectrum: from scholarships to building renovations; from program enhancements to faculty innovation funds; from classrooms to clinics, and beyond. Their generosity has enhanced University facilities, student success and program offerings.

Their legacy of giving serves as an example of the impact of philanthropy on the Pacific student experience and the everlasting change that generosity can make on a university and its community.
