The Education Abroad Office is a part of International Program and Services and is located in the Bechtel International Center.  

If you're interested in studying abroad, talk to Derek or one of the student workers. They all have international experience and can help you decide which programs or countries may be best for you. They can also help you plan and work with your advisors on courses to look for.

The office is open 9-5, and you can walk in any time. You can also email Derek to set up an appointment if you have questions!

Derek Bradley, Assistant Director, Education Abroad

Derek came to Pacific in 2018 after nine years as a Regional Director with ISEP (International Student Exchange Programs).  Prior to ISEP, he lived in China for five years, teaching at Beijing Language and Culture University, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and Anhui Normal University. He has also worked for the Boston Consulting Group and USAID.  He has an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College and a B.S. in Business/Communications from Grove City College.  He has lived, worked, and traveled in Argentina, Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.

Adam Band, Education Abroad Assistant

Adam is a fourth year business student with concentrations in Arts and Entertainment Management and Marketing, and a minor in Jazz Studies. He studied abroad in Lausanne Switzerland in Spring 2019, and hopes to study internationally for his masters degree.

Natalia Gevara, Education Abroad Assistant

Natalia is a fourth-year History and International Relations major from Stockton, CA. She hopes to one day work for a non-profit or in diplomacy, and eventually become a college professor.

Camille Khalili, Podcast Manager, The Abroadcast

Camille is a fourth-year Media X major from Stockton, CA. Her goal is to work in the animation and television industries, focusing on production management.

Scout Cooper-Wilson, Curriculum Integration Research Assistant

Scout has a self designed major titled Critical and Cultural Studies and will be graduating spring of 2022. She has elementary proficiency in Arabic and plans on studying abroad in Jordan during 2020-21 school year. She hopes to work in international development.
