Updated August 6, 2020

As COVID-19 cases have rapidly accelerated over the past month, the university has determined that nearly all teaching and learning will be conducted remotely this fall. The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff must and will always take precedence.

    Student Information

    Classes and Learning

    • Nearly all of our teaching and learning will be conducted remotely for the fall semester.
    • Deans will provide students detailed plans on how labs and research will take place this semester.
    • University libraries will continue to offer virtual delivery of student support services. Learn more at our Online Learning Resources webpage.
    • For technology support issues or questions, please visit our Resources for Learning Remotely webpage.

    Student Life

    • Pacific is creating an entirely new and rich portfolio of extracurricular learning and social activities. Our robust virtual events when posted will be accessible through the university’s event calendar.

    • Our residential apartments on the Sacramento Campus will remain unaffected.
    • On the Stockton Campus, we are working with county health officials to see how many of our university-operated campus apartments can be used this fall. Residential Life and Housing will email residents with current housing contracts via their Pacific email address providing additional details.

    Financial Support

    • COVID-19 Relief Scholarship: Scholarships of $1,450 a year for up to four years for all eligible undergraduates.
    • Fees: For the fall semester, Pacific is eliminating all course fees and the Stockton campus recreation fee.
    • Work Study Program: Pacific will continue to employ students remotely through the Work Study Program.
