Professors Omar Dajani and Aslı Ü. Bâli will discuss "Self-determination Beyond the Nation-State" as part of the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law’s Centennial Celebration Speaker Series on November 19, 2024 from 5-6 p.m. PT in the Grand Salon.
Dajani is the Carol Olson Endowed Professor of International Law at McGeorge School of Law, Co-Director of McGeorge Global Center for Business and Development, and Co-Director of International Certificate of Concentration. Bâli is a Professor of Law at Yale Law School and the co-chair of the Advisory Board for the Middle East Division of Human Rights Watch.
Throughout 2024, guest speakers from law schools across the country – including legal experts like Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean Danielle Conway, Professor Susan Kuo, Professor William Eskridge Jr., Professor Cheryl Wade, Professor Aya Gruber, and more – will share their insights in an array of legal topics.
