Commuter Students

As a commuter student, we provide you with resources to make your experience at Pacific enjoyable. Please utilize our office in the following ways:

The University provides a variety of spaces on campus for commuter students to relax in between classes:

DeRosa University Center: Commuter students can utilize the DeRosa University Center for a variety of services including dining at The Marketplace, recreation at The Lair, and much more!
Elbert Covell Lounge: This newly remodeled lounge is a space for residential, transfer, and commuting students to relax, socialize and connect with fellow Pacificans. The lounge is located in the heart of the Quads.
Center for Identity and Inclusion: Conveniently located on the first and second floor of the McCaffrey Center, CII is home to El Centro, Native American Student Services, Black Student Services, Asian, Pacific Islander and Desi Student Services, LGBTQ+ Resource Center and the Lactation Lounge. CII spaces serve as a home away from home for students who live on- and off-campus.
University Library: Reserve a study room, record yourself in the One Button Studio, or peruse our wide variety of literary resources!
Baun Fitness Center: Our fitness center, located in the heart of campus, boasts a rock tower, connected cardio area, free weights, ping pong, racquetball court and two multifunctional fitness rooms.

Preferred parking is offered for light electric vehicles and carpool vehicles. Talk to Human Resources in person for information about parking permits.
The following Stockton Metro bus routes have stops at Pacific: 23, 40, 378, 545, 578. Visit the San Joaquin RTD Webpage for more information on routes and rates.
San Joaquin RTD now offers a service, Van Go!, which allows riders to reserve all one-way trips for only $4. It is a ride sharing service that only requires the app available on iOS and Android.
