The MESA University Program is a statewide network of related programs coordinated through Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement (MESA).  Pacific MESA's focus is centered around community building, collaboration, and providing access to resources for students to grow and succeed professionally and personally. The program works with students to ensure they have the support and guidance necessary to successfully earn STEM degrees and become career-ready candidates for industry employment. Beyond such, MESA strives to provide a comfortable, safe environment for students to explore their creativity and strengthen their individuality. MESA's collaborative efforts provides students with a wide range of networking opportunities within several different fields of study, local community and industry engagement, and much more.

What Pacific's MESA University Program has to offer:

  • 24/7 access to a dedicated MESA University Program study room (computers available) with an 8am-5pm relaxation lounge
  • Leadership development conferences
  • Community building social events on campus
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Industry field trips and continual networking within industry to identify mentors, internships and all possible opportunities
  • Financial support for conferences, research, projects, school supplies, food insecurity, and more
  • Assistance with supporting academic and personal support through counseling, workshops, tutoring, etc.

STEM Day Students
Are you eligible?

Students that meet at least one of the following criteria can be considered for admission:

  • Past participant in MESA — MESA members in high school or community college
  • First Generation College student — Parents have not received a Bachelor's Degree in the United STates
  • First Generation college student in STEM — Parents with degrees outside of STEM
  • Community Service required hours — Community Involvement Program scholar
  • Low Income — Pell grant or Cal Grant B (only) recipient
