July 2026

Greetings from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law!

The summer offers a welcome change of pace. It gives us a chance to spend time with family and friends, enjoy the longer days, and take a step back before another busy academic year begins. While our students are busy away from campus, either through summer jobs, internships, externships, or studying for the Bar Exam, there is no shortage of activity here at McGeorge School of Law as we prepare to welcome a new class this fall.

One thing I've come to appreciate throughout my career is that no law school succeeds on its own. It is built by the people who continue to invest in it long after graduation. Our alumni are the lifeblood of McGeorge. Your willingness to mentor students, share your experiences, open doors, and create opportunities has a lasting impact and helps prepare the next generation of lawyers. Many of our students find their first professional connections because an alumnus took the time to help.

As you enjoy the rest of your summer, I encourage you to think about how you might stay involved with McGeorge. Thank you for all you do. Your support continues to make a difference.

Warm regards,
